There must be more to life than having everything. -Maurice Sendak

I have have no idea who this guy is. However, I'm pretty sure he's echoing another, more familiar sage: Solomon. Isn't that what the whole book of Ecclesiastes is about?

There is more to life, and it's Jesus.

Joyously living in Christ,

Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man.
For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.

--Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, NIV

Lindsay: And apparently I am famously ignorant of authors! Thanks for the heads up! :-)

Solomon? Never heard of him.

Yeap, I knew the name immediately. I knew he was a children's author, but could not remember what the books I knew him from. Where the Wild Things Are. Max was making mischief of one kind or another. I used to not like the book and now I do. I think it has to do with having kids.
