Abraham Lincoln. A man of reserve, courage, and wisdom. How did he gain such discernment, such skill in living and administering (for that is what wisdom is)? Perhaps this will help to clarify:
'Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
--Abraham Lincoln
Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.
--Proverbs 17:28, NIV
Clear?
